From 15^th to 18^th June, Xia Wenyong, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, led a delegation to visit CJIC's market in Zambia. Yu Tong, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; Chen Chang-Sheng, Deputy Director-General of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce; Chen Jun, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; and Shu Yong-Zhong, Vice Mayor of Xinyu City. Zhang Jian-An, Chairman of CJIC, participated in relevant activities.

During the visit to Zambia, Mr. Xia conducted an in-depth inspection of the Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone. He was briefed on the zone’s master plan, construction progress, and operational status, and visited several enterprises operating within the zone to learn about their production and business operations. Mr. Xia emphasized the need to focus on Jiangxi's competitive production capacity and the "1269" Plan, intensify investment promotion efforts for the Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone, and attract more of Jiangxi's competitive industry to invest in the zone. He stressed the importance of strengthening the operational management of the cooperation zone and enhancing services for the resident enterprises, providing them with efficient and high-quality support to ensure they can operate with peace of mind, thereby contributing to Zambia's economic and social development.

Mr. Xia Wenyong also met with Hon. Mwabashike Nkulukusa, Minister of Central Province, at the Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone and jointly attended the China (Jiangxi Province) – Zambia (Central Province) Business Forum.
